Christian Lindholm Biography

This section is devoted to me as a person some of the experiences I have had while working.
My plan is to extend this an make it interactive, but for now it is a start.

I am a Danish Finn living in Finland, married to Nina Lindholm. we have a 2,5 year old daughter called Karen Louise (Look at some pictures of her ).

I am working for Nokia, which I have done nearly 9 years. Currently I am Director for Multimedia applications in Nokia Ventures Organization. I am heading a venture or in otherwords a internal start up.
Previously I have been responsible for Nokia User Interfaces in various positions.

My dearest hobby is sailing with my family. We have a 29 foot Hallberg-Rassy (HR29 you should select the previous models section) built by the world renowned Swedish boat yard carrying the same name. Here you can see some photos from our sailing holiday in 2002 (Pictures )

One of my hobbies is to race radio controlled yachts, you can read more on this topic on the Finnish RC-Sailors home page (Unfortunately mostly in Finnish). I recently won the Finnish Championship in the 1M class. This was my first National title in this class (pictures from race, my boat is number <20 http://www.helsinki.fi/~awallin/1m/03sep/2003sep.html>). In the Marblehead class I have many national championships, a Nordic Championship and then I have been 4th, 6th and 10th in the World Championships 1988, 1992, 1994 respectively.
