First Lifeblog compatible phone launched.

The Nokia 7610 imaging phone with megapixel was launched today. It will be available during Q204. It is thinner, narrower and lighter than its predecessors and the camera quality is much better.

that thing is kind of ugly and scary. a lifeblog?!?! can someone explain it to me, I'm missing the point.

that keypad is whack, and I hope it comes in more colors than just this one. I *do enjoy the overall shape - not your typical bar phone with rounded edges.

what idiot designer thought up that keypad? I keypad isn't primarily an object of aesthetic appeal - its an input device! It doesn't need stunning windswept lines, it needs keys big enough to hit with your fingertips. Nokia's 'rethinking' campaign sure doesn't have much guidance.

I don't want to sound like a snob but everything Nokia, Motorolla, etc., are doing is behind everything going on in Japan - yeah video phones, where you can see each other while talking in realtime, and TV phones came out last year. But making a funky looking phone that doesn't do all that much is not much to look foward to.

Bad ass. The phone looks great and the keyboard has the potential to be good for left-thumb dialing.

Now...if only Nokia could make a CDMA version in 2004. That would be incredible.
