Winter wonderland. The first snow is always amazing, so calm and harmonious.
Winter wonderland arrived today in Helsinki. The first snow and lots of it The downtown Esplanade park looked like something out of a fairy tale.

That looks absolutely beautiful. Being in North Carolina now I don't get to see snow the way I used to in New York. Kind of doesn't make the Holidays real for me. Thank you so much for sharing this picture.

What a beautiful moment you've captured.
It is amazing how such a cold snow-dominated white picture manages to convey so much warmth.
I, too, took some pictures of the new fresh snow in Helsinki last weekend. This one http://www.tuija.tv/aleksi/1aevening_of_november_20_in_h_jpg.html came out particularly nice, I think.
